What's my hat size?

What's my hat size?

The best way to determine your head size is to measure the circumference of your head where you want to wear your hat. There are two main ways to wear a hat - a Traditional way, and a Halo way - check the images below.

How to find out your hat size?

To find out your head size for picking the perfect hat, measure your head where you want to wear the hat. If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string or yarn. Wrap it around your head and mark where it meets. Then, lay the string flat and measure it with a ruler or any measuring tape you have.

If you're are in between sizes, opt for a larger option - all Reverie hats contain adjustable inner strap that allows you to reduce the size of the hat by another 2 cm.

Traditional style

When you wear a hat in traditional way, the front tip of the hat is low on the forehead, just above your eyebrows. If you wish to wear a hat this way, measure the distance around your head from the center of the back of the head to the forehead just above the eyebrows.

Our wool felt hats will fit anyone with the head size between 55 cm to 60cm, depending on the hat model.

Halo style

When you wear a hat in halo way, the front of your hat is raised up and the hat sits on the back of your head. If you wish to wear your fedora hat using a halo method, measure the distance around your head by positioning a measure tape at the top of your forehead and over your occipital bone, just above your neck.

Our wool felt hats will fit anyone with the head size between 55 cm to 60cm, depending on the hat model.

All hats of ours have an adjustable inner strap designed for a perfect fit. It allows you to reduce the size of the hat by additional 2cm.
